Butte Valley

FAQ

How often do you meet?

Most months, we meet the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. This is changed depending on the regional schedule (we will change dates if our meeting conflicts with a regional event), or depending on weather. If it is too hot through the summer, we will cancel our mounted meeting but still hold the unmounted education in a zoom session.

Where do you meet?

We almost always meet at Camelot-Mechoopda Equestrian Park 1985 Clark Road, Oroville, CA. This location has several different arenas for use as well as a cross country course, gallop track, and water complex.

What age members do you accept?

Any age! Pony Club now accepts adults, and in 2025 Butte Valley Pony Club has 5 adult members.

What does the rating system look like?

This is best explained in person. However, please see the certification page on the pony club website for a text description.
